I have recently joined the list, made my first post, received lots of great email, found a second cousin. Thanks to everyone on all their input. Colleen wanted to know where I was from. I live just outside of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Because the Petrie information we have is limited, we only have 1 daughter, she married, and that is it for the Petries. (Catherine Petrie, b 1850 Wick, Scotland) parents George Petrie and Elizabeth Campbell Russell, thanks for the messages. Catherine and Andrew Moyes actually had 9 children, including my great grandmother Annie Petrie Moyes. I would still like to go about finding dates for my George Petrie and Elizabeth Campell. On Catherine Petrie's marriage certificate it lists Wick as her birthplace. I am very happy with this list, and still can't believe that a cousin and I have connected.
