Alexander REID m. Jannet MORISON Alexander REID c. 27 MAR 1768 Rattray, f. James REID m. Hellen SANDERS Alexander REID c. 26 APR 1767 Kirkmichael, f. Patrick REID m. Margaret C. Alexander REID c. 18 MAY 1761 Kirkmichael, f. James REID m. Janet STEWART and the only possible Annie Anne PETRIE c. 13 MAY 1761 Kirkmichael, f. John PETRIE m. Elisabeth REID!!!!!!! So, if Alexander c. 18 MAY 1761 married Anne c. 13 MAY 1761 they would both be 28 years old when they married. This seems to tie in with other marriage ages (mid to late twenties). If Alexander's parents were James REID and Janet STEWART that would mean that my 5th great grandmother on my grandfather's mother's side was a STEWART, well........... my 5th great grandfather on my granfather's father's side was also a STEWART (AAAAAAAGH! NOT ANOTHER TWO!) I can feel the hair growing on the palms of my hands as I type (my father used to tell me that was the first sign of madness).
