Hello to All: Hello to the Scotland Petrie List: I am the great grandson of James Petrie and Jessie Sim of Arbroath, Scotland.  I personally knew their son (my grandfather) when he was alive.  He was also named James Petrie.  Only recently, I got my grandfather's birth record from the General Registry in Edinburgh.  Until then, I did not know the name of his father and mother. I am interested in going back further in time in this line.  If anyone has information to share with me, I would be most delighted to have you send it along to me.
