    3. Hi there, I have recently been able to update some Petrie deaths, and thought you might be interested, the first is from the Commonealth war Graves Commission site, do you realise there are a total of 95 PETRIE names?, not all have as much detail as this. JAMES HOWIE PETRIE Corporal 265736 H.Q. Staff, 1st/6th Bn., Gordon Highlanders who died on Tuesday, 26th March 1918. Age 28. Additional Information: Son of Andrew and Annie Petrie, of Kemnay, Aberdeenshire. Enlisted Aug., 1914. Previously wounded at Neuve Chapelle. A banker by profession. Commemorative Information Cemetery: ST. HILAIRE CEMETERY, FREVENT, Pas de Calais, France Grave Reference / Panel Number: V. F. 9. I have also been able to get a bit more information on the accident at Craigellachie Bridge where Charles PETRIE, foreman surfaceman of Drummuir, the eldest son of Charles and Isabella PETRIE, of Leslie, Aberdeenshire, received fatal injuries, he died 22 April 1907, he was married to Isabella Grant, According to the Banffshire Herald, of 27th April 1907, "he left a widow and nine children, only two being old enough to work" does anyone know any more about what happened to the family. That is all for now Kind regards George N Henderson Invercargill New Zealand
