I did a search on the I.G.I and found one son for them so far: JAMES LAING SUTHERLAND brn 15th February 1861 St. Nicholas Parish. James Laing was one of the witnesses for the marriage of Agnes Petrie and William Sutherland. Also found that James Mitchell Laing married a Jane Reid which is also related to the other witness James Reid. found this marriage; JEAN PETRIE married JAMES REID 17th February 1855 St Nicholas Aberdeen Also found this birth which may help someone else on the list. mother: ELIZABETH PETRIE father: PETER JAMES SUTHERLAND son: JOHN SINCLAIR SUTHERLAND Brn; 8TH DEC 1866 St. Nicholas Aberdeen.
