However, God chose otherwise because the tumour returned and yesterday was the termination of her mortal life. There seems to be a few Karen and Stephen list members. We are part of the Kirkmichael branch, of which there seems to be two twigs! Hi there I am looking for help tracing back members of the Petrie family from Kirkmichael, Perthshire in Scotland. Our line starts with John Petrie who married Jane Forbes. Their son, George Petrie married Margaret Reid. Their son, James Petrie married Susan MacDonald. Their son, Alexander Petrie married Elizabeth Marjory Low - they were my grandparents. I know there are members of the same family who use this website and I would love to hear from any of them. My father, Alexander Petrie, died when I was quite young and I know very little about my family. Hi Alistair I am still trying to find a lead back into Scotland for my g-grandfather William Petrie b. c1850 (he lived from 1873 in County Durham) supposedly Broughty Ferry but may be Monifieth. His father's name was also William Petrie. I noticed you have a William Petrie b. 1826 Monifieth, Angus in your tree. Do you by any chance know if he had any children that might link to my William Petrie.
