Until then my earliest Peters is Adam b. abt 1782 in PA d. 1856 in Buffalo Twp., Butler Co. PA, parents unknown. He m. Abagail (Fleming?) b. abt 1800 PA d. 1866. Known children: Ann (1817/1820-1896) m. Henry Bruner; Rebecca; Elizabeth, Adam, John F. (1809-1895) m. Christina Jane Leasure; Margaret (1812-1906) m. James Hanlin; Abagail b. abt 1813 m. Abraham Misner; Thomas (abt 1822-1863) m. Margaret Black; and Mary b. abt 1825 m. John Black. Adam and Thomas may be the same person. I have never found a documented connection between this family and the Adam Peters family of Bradys Bend in Armstrong Co. Linda
