This is my first posting to this list. My PETERS line is the shortest in my family research, primarily because two successive generations of Peters died very young before they could pass on any family traditions to their children. This is what I have learned: My mother's father, Frank Demetrius PETERS died when his daughter was 5 years old. He was an early aviator and died in the crash of an experimental aircraft, 7 June 1930, Clinton, OK. He was born 21 October 1898, in Livingston, TX, and was a veteran of W.W.I. His father was David Franklin PETERS. Apparently, David died before his sons 2nd birthday, because his wife was listed as a widow in the 1900 census for Polk County, TX. David's wife was Annie Elizabeth WILLIS, whose mother was Anna B. McKEON. These two women, unlike their husbands lived very long lives. Annie WILLIS died in Waskom, TX in 1972, just short of 104 years of age. Any information on this line would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Frank Emerson
