Larry if our 1870 or 1880 census are indexed I will give a look and see if I can find your William, I'm looking for Hans I am not sure when he came here either but it is around the same time yours came and he was from Prussia also. There is a lot of Peters in Genealogy.com they are Mennonite's from Prussia put your William in there and see what you come up with I know there are several Han Peters there .
