My g-g-g grandfather was Joseph Peters (bc 1795 in SC). He married Olive Rentz. I believe he is the Joseph Peters that shows up on the Barnwell County Census in 1820. In 1830 and 1840, He shows up in Lawrence County,MS. Then he moves to Catahoula Parish, Louisana in 1850 and then was on the 1860 census in Winn Parish, LA which is where he is buried. He dies somewhere after 1860 (maybe 1866). His children were: Mary Peters ( bc 1814 in SC) m Allen McCarty James Peters (b1815-1816 in SC) m. Emaline Mathews Anna Peters ( b1817 in SC) m Amos Richardson Mildred Peters (bc 1822 in MS) m Wm. M. Newsom Charles Peters (bc 1826-1827 MS) m Evelyn Willis Jonathan Peters (bc 1829 in MS) m Elizabeth Pace Elizabeth Peters (bc1832 in MS) m Asa Meredith Jonathan Peters (bc 1829 in MS) m Elizabeth Pace Isaac Peters (bc 1831 in MS) m Lucinda Durden Elizabeth Peters (bc1832 in MS) m Asa Meredith Most of the children stayed in Louisana but Anna, Jonathan and Isaac moved to Tyler County, TEXAS. I AM TRYING TO FIND ANY LINKS TO JOSEPH PETERS PARENTS. IF YOU HAVE ANY LEADS, I WOULD BE ETERNALLY GRATEFUL. Cindy Peters Dennis --------------82738E23224D580E143DCDAD--
