Hello, Where in PA? I have a Peters who was born about 1720 and died about 1783 in western PA. He had several children: William, Stephen, Robert, and a daughter - Elizabeth. Probably more. William Peters, Sr., was an Indian, probably a Conestoga. His wife, Mary was white. He was known as "Indian Peter". He baptized his children as "William Peter". Some of his children went to Dearborn Co. IN (se corner of the state next to Ohio) in 1797 or before. Does any of this sound at all familiar? I hope it does..... Regards, Marilyn Abigt Fallbrook, CA
