Sundee, Thanks for replying to my Peters query. I know both Henry and John Peters were in Jackson Co., Ala. before 1830, I'm trying to verify that they were in Sevier Co., TN before 1810. A long time ago I made a note to myself that a John and Henry Peters both owned land in Sevier Co. I had just started research and didn't cite my source! At that time, I had no idea they might be the ones I'm looking for. But since Henry Peter's son said on his military pension application that he was born in Sevier Co., I think it is highly probable that this was them. Thanks again, Faye
