Hi I am new to this list. I have been researching the Peters name as my wife and, of course, my children are descendants of Valentine Hewlett Peters b. abt 1716, where ? d. abt 1786. He had approximately 10 children the oldest son being James b. abt. 1746. James relocated with his family in 1783 to the province of Nova Scotia. He was married to Margaret Lester at Hempstead, Long Island, NY in 1767. Looking for anyone with connections to Valentine Hewlett Peters. He lived in New York on Long Island.
