Please help: Two brothers, John Peters, Sr. born c1760, and Henry Peters, Sr. born c1764, were living in Jackson Co., AL before 1830. Most of these two Peters' children were born in Tennessee, according to Census records. Several of these mens' descendants migrated to Crawford Co., AR about 1842. According to military records, George Washington Peters (believed to have been a son of Henry Peters, Sr.) was born c1812 in SERVIERVILLE, SERVIER CO., TN. Does anyone have any information on a Peters family living in Servier Co., TN, during the early 1800's? Thanks, Faye Goodner

Hi Faye if they were in Sevier County, TN it had to be very early 1800's. I the 1830 and 1840 Sevier County, TN censuses and no Peters are listed in it. Hope this helps you to know that they moved on somewhere else before 1830, sorry I could not help anymore though.
