Is anyone searching for any of these people in Vigo Co, IN? The Peters lived there from 1875 to 1915, and the other two related families still have descendants living in the Pimento area of Vigo Co. Lucy Where, if I might ask, is Vigo County? My wife's 2X great grandfather, George Henry Peters, left his family in Christian County, Illinois sometime after his last child was born in 1860. He was later seen, supposedly, running a diner or small restaurant in Xenia, Illinois (far Southeastern), and after that burned, is thought to have gone on to Vincennes, Ind. where he opened another restaurant). In the 1850/60 census he gave his birth as about 1811 in Kentucky. We know nothing at all about his birthplace or birth family.
