I received a call last night tell me that one of my books was on line at Ancestry.com and it was complete. I checked this morning and she was correct. Some one felt very free to copy my grandfathers book and put the whole thing on line as their work. Of course they didn't use my name as having done the work. But you can believe I plan on posting any place I can on the web what this person has done. Ain't life grand. By the way the name of my grandfathers book is Just Call Me Cousin Volume II and the person who felt so free to copy the whole thing was Jeri.paradise@gene.ge.com. (I would love to know who this is) Kathy --part1_29.a935173.270133c4_boundary Content-Type: message/rfc822 Content-Disposition: inline Return-path: <SKMcKown@aol.com> From: SKMcKown@aol.com Full-name: SKMcKown Message-ID: <4f.13d4358.27013102@aol.com> Date: Mon, 25 Sep 2000 18:51:46 EDT Subject: Ancestry.com file To: Jeri.paradise@gene.ge.com MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Mailer: AOL 5.0 for Windows sub 118 Hi Jeri, I am wondering who you are, who are your people in the file that contains Elbert Lee Bolling and his family. I do wonder also how many years it took you to obtain all of this information, or was it as simple as opening my book and taking it all from my book. If you are wondering who I am; I am Sara Kathryn Bowling McKown and all the information that you put on Ancestry.com came from my book. "Just Call Me Cousin Volume II". I know that you already know this, but I am wondering why you did it. Are you too lazy to do your own work??? Or just to stupid??? Or is it just simpler to copy someone else books and claim that you did the work. NOW I want that information removed from Ancestry.com. Anyone that see the work will know that you didn't do it. Who are you kidding. Now will get it taken off line or we will go to court and don't even think that a copywrite doesn't make a difference. Kathy McKown --part1_29.a935173.270133c4_boundary--
