Is there anyone out there who lives in or near St Vigeans? I am trying to identify an area on a death certificate and I don't have the expertise to post an image anywhere for general perusal. The certificate is an 1883 death certificate for Agnes FAULDS age 61 widow of John FAULDS Her usual address is shown as 24 St. Vigeans Rd, which I found OK Multi Map She was found dead at the [looks like] - - - dding Moss and cause of death was drowning so I am ssuming it must have been or is a small water area. The word Moss is identifiable on a blow up of the image. Does this ring a bell with any of the locals?? Any help appreciated Elizabeth jean
Might this be 'Whiting Ness', on the coast just east of Arbroath?
