Bill - I think we've got 3 separate DEWAR families who all came from that area, all in that time, and settled 3 different parts of what was to be Canada. Yours went to Nova Scotia, another went to Quebec and mine went to Ontario. I keep feeling that if we could just get a little more information about the 1700's in Breadalbane and points around there we would manage to connect all those lines together. Let's keep at it!!! Alexander DEWAR and his wife had one son that I know of. His name was John DEWAR who settled in Nova Scotia abt 1803.
