Hi All, especially Carolyn I've just been looking through yesterday's pictures and noticed that I missed a CRAIG memorial. Not your David CRAIK, but a John who would have been born in 1805, and from Burrelton (as 'Burreltan'). I wonder if I missed other Craigs in the cemetery? I may go back one day, but not for a while. Judy previously suggested that the 1841 and 1851 censuses may clear thing up for you - if you can't get access to them and no-one else steps in, give me a couple of weeks and I may find them for you. Here is the inscription: In memory of John Craig who died at Burreltan 15 July 1876 aged 71, also his wife Mary McFarlane who died 8 July 1891 aged 82 years, and their family John who died 7 Jan 1910 aged 58, James who died 16 Dec 1912 aged 70, Mary 27th Nov 1924 aged 71. cheers Gavin.
