I'm hoping I've found the marriage of my Alex and Christian Forbes and the baptisms of their 3 children in Dull parish. I'm not sure of my transcription of them. Especially words such as Top, Leigh & Middletown. Is Top an abbreviation or a place? This is my first foray into Scottish parish records. Alexr & Christ Forbes's, Oct 18th 1783 Alexander & Christian Forbes's both in Top gave up their names in order to marriage. Aug. 4th 1784 Marg't Daughter to Alex and Christian Forbes's in Leigh Duntanlich Bapt. Feb. 11, 1786 Alexander Son to Alexander Forbes & Christian Forbes in lower Duntanlich was bap Tax pd Nov 16, 1788 Donald Son to Alexander Forbes & Christian Forbes in Middletown of Dunlau?lleh? was bap Tax pd Thanks to all that put me onto the Duntanlich trail.
