Dear Alistair I too have Robertsons of Perthshire origins who married Perthshire Campbells in Coatbridge, Lanarkshire. Both families presumably moved there to work in the Carron Company iron foundries - my GGF Donald Campbell was a Journeyman Ironmoulder and died aged 45 in 1917 from unknown cause (collapsed in the street). Here is the information I have from Scottish Roots who did an excellent job for me hwen I was living abroad and couldn't access any records. If you find any links with your Robertsons, can you let me have anything relevant. Thanks & regards Caroline Campbell Yeo RESEARCHING: DEWAR, CAMPBELL, ROBERTSON, THOM(P)SON, Lanarkshire // CAMPBELL, ROBERTSON, STARK, CRUMPTON, Perthshire // MCFARLANE, MCLACHLAN, Argyllshire PERTHSHIRE-D-request@ro otsweb.com To: PERTHSHIRE-D@rootsweb.com cc: 30/10/2003 04:02 AM Subject: PERTHSHIRE-D Digest V03 #206 Please respond to PERTHSHIRE-L ----- Message from Unknown on Unknown ----- PERTHSHIRE-D Digest Volume 03 : Issue 206 Today's Topics: #6 [PERTH] Re: Robertsons ["Alistair Bell" <alibell@tiscali.c] ==== PERTHSHIRE Mailing List ==== -------------------------------------------------- ALL messages are recorded in the Rootsweb archives. http://searches2.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/intl/SCT/PERTHSHIRE.html -------------------------------------------------- ______________________________ ----- Message from "Alistair Bell" <alibell@tiscali.co.uk> on Wed, 29 Oct 2003 15:29:01 -0000 ----- To: PERTHSHIRE-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [PERTH] Re: Robertsons Hi David, Many many Thanks!! This is incredible. I'll try to make up a Word file of my Robertsons. Although I think I may have sent you most of what I have. If you come across anything relative, (so to speak) please let me know. I've sent the marriage certificate of my Great Great Grand Parents, Andrew Milne & Catherine Robertson, on a separate E-Mail. Cheers Alistair Bell.
