Dalshian, Ballyoukan and Bellichandy all lie upon the river Tumel and within three miles of the kirks of Mouline and Logierait. Using Streetmap.co.uk I am able to find Ballyoukan without difficulty. I found the locale of a "Dalshian House" using google. I have put them on a map here: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~colin/Ferguson/DNA/Athole/ I cannot find Bellichandy or any of the variants that I have seen, i.e. Balichainduibh, Bellichandie, Bellechandie. The Fergusson estate here was in the fourth generation held by Fergus Fergusson in 1573 and sold in the seventh generation by Alexander Fergusson prior to 1650. Balchandy consists of three farms : Lower - GB Grid Ref NN 967555 Middle - GB Grid Ref NN 969557 Upper - GB Grid Ref NN 972560 Ballyoukan (House) [GB Grid Ref NN963563] is only 1km WNW of Balchandy. If he plays around with the web-site he'll find it quite easy to use very quickly. If he tries inputing NN 975515 in the search box - this will give him Logierate.
