Hello, Having tracked most of my Maconochie lines, I am now really stuck on just one: Edward Maconochie - born 10 June 1845 at Rhynd, Perthshire, youngest child of James Maconochie and Bethia Gowans Edward married Jean McLean on 23 June 1865 in Dundee and they had 2 children in Dundee: Edward McLean Maconochie (16 June 1865-1867) and Peter McLean Maconochie (born 14 April 1867). This is the last I can find about the family - they don't appear in the 1880/1881 census for anywhere in the UK, Canada or the US (that I can find!) Does this ring a bell with anyone?
