Hi: I would like to re-post my interest in this family. I have gathered up some information on this family, through IGI, my own research, and the help of some very kind people. However, at this point, I'm wondering if there is "anyone out there" who might be connected to/or researching this family. Parents: James CAMERON, b. 4 Apr. 1787, Weem, Perth, Scotland his wife, Helen DRON, b. 6 June, 1782, Perth, Scotland Children: Helen, christened 5 Aug. 1810, Forteviot, Perth Christian, b. 23 Mar. 1812, Forgandenny, Perth Margaret, b. 22 Mar. 1814, died in Ontario, Canada, 3 Oct. 1891 Anne, b. 22 June, 1816, Forgandenny, Perth Peter, b. 17 Feb. 1818 Elizabeth, b. 20 Apr. 1821, Forteviot, Perth John, b. abt. 1823 These dates have been obtained through IGI, and have not been proved. The IGI show a marriage date for James and Helen as 1809, and being married in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. I believe the date to be correct, but obviously they were not married in Canada. James and Helen, along with two of their children, Margaret and John emigrated to Canada. I don't know if any of the other family came with them. Would anyone be able to help me in finding out when they came to Canada - I think it might have been around 1848. Thank you for reading this query. - Joy in Canada
