    3. Have you tried the Stewarts of the South? The original document is here: http://www.heartlander.scotland.net/heritage/stewarts-of-the-south.htm If you are not already familiar with the document, then an introductory commentary is here: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~rykbrown/stewarts_of_south.htm Ryk Brown -----Original Message----- From: virginia miller [mailto:vjmill@telus.net] Sent: November 8, 2004 7:29 PM To: PERTHSHIRE-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [PERTH] angus stewart in Monzie I have just learned that my g grandfather, Angus Stewart, was born in Monzie, not in Dollar as I had previously thought. Nevertheless, he is still not in the IGI or Scotlandspeople. His birthdate was March 8, 1827. His parents were Alexander Stewart and Isabella Rutherford. Possible names of siblings are Jessie, John, and Donald. He may not have been christened in the C. of S. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look? He was working as a farm servant in Gilmerton when he married Elizabeth Mc omish at Fowlis Wester in 1857. Witnesses were Angus Stewart and Jessie Stewart. Elizabeth's parents were John Mcomish and Margaret Millar of Madderty.
