Greetings, I am fairly new to this list but joined as soon as I found it. In my line I have Stewarts from Blair Athol, Perthshire. I know of a Peter Stewart born in 1752 though exact location has not been found yet. His first wife was Jane Unknown and he married second a Janet McFarlane. He had the following children: Alexander b: 1776 Blair Athol d: 1866 in Canada married Margaret MacFarlin; Patrick born 1779 d: 1832; Charles b: 1787 d: 1832 wife Nancy unknown; Margaret b: 1785; Isobel b: 1790 Blair Athol; John b: 1790 Blair Athol (twins?) married Grace unknown; Robert b: 1792; James b: 1796 Blair Athol married Margaret Allen. I am descended via Charles and his wife Nancy through their daughter Nancy b: 1809 in Virginia USA Nancy married William Ashford-the last of their children were born in Texas USA.
