    2. In my family I have a William Stewart married to a Catherine Scrimgeour. Who on March 27, 1796 had a son, Donald Stewart, at Logierait in Perthshire. Donald married Jean/Jane McNaughton (b 1792 at Dowally) on September 11, 1823 at Dowally. To them were born 6 children. The eldest was John Alexander Stewart, who was born on February 14, 1824. John is my great grandfather. I wonder at some point if our families are connected. I'll look forward to hearing from you.
