Could you please do a look-up in the 1851 census for John & ? (Ferguson) Stewart in the parishes of Blairgowrie and Dowally. They were probably both born about 1780. Their son, James Stewart (b 1805 or 1806 at Dowally) married Isobel Keay (b 1800 at Caputh) on August 20, 1829 at Caputh. My great great grandfather, James, died Nov 1, 1878 at Blairgowrie. At his death it is noted that both his parents have died previously. I was wondering if either or both of his parents might show up living in the 1851 census. Any help relating to the above would be very much appreciated.
