Donald MCFARLANE died on 30 October 1881. His Death Cert. shows his parents as John MCFARLNE, Farmer and mother as Grace Schringer (may be spelt with nn). The 1881 Census shows him aged 94, living with his daughter Grace and son-in-law at Pitferrane, Dufermline and that his place of birth to be Dunkeld, Perth, Scotland.
