    1. Crimean War
    2. Hello List: Can anyone help me find a listing of officers from Scottish regiments in the Crimean War? I am supposed to have a Lt. Col. Robertson killed in the Charge of the Light Brigade. I will look for any of the battles however knowing how stories go. I once found a story on Google that told of all the officers killed but cannot find it now. This could posable be a brother to my John Robertson who was my great grandfather. They were born in Kinnoull Perth. I only know of one sister named Katherine. I know that John and Catherine's father was dead by 1856 so just possibly he could have been in the army. I know we have several connected to the military but just don't know who at this time. Thanks for any help. Kaye

    3. Hi list, I am currenly at my first genealogical conference here in New Zealand. Yesterday at the Scottish interest group meeting were were told all Scotish military records, after Culloden, are held at the PRO in England. And these records are indexed on the PRO website. Kaye, I can't check this out myself, till I return home, so hopefully you can find it yourself or another lister can help you. If you have no joy in a week e-mail me direct and I'll see what I can do ( I want to find my own gg great-uncle who was in the Indian army.) cheers John Dods Wellington, New Zealand --- CEHAUGHEE@aol.com wrote: > Hello List: Can anyone help me find a listing of > officers from Scottish > regiments in the Crimean War?
