Greetings to All, I am researching for a friend, the FARQUHARSON family, who originated in Aberdeen and then came to Perthshire to various (some very old) places near Glenshee and Brouchdearg. The family goes back to the founder of the FARQUHARSON Clan and the most recent marriage I have is of an Isobel FARQUHARSON who m. Thomas LAMOND in 1790, Kingoldrum. They also lived at a place called Baldovie in Kingoldrum (which is difficult to locate). I have found on scotland'speople 2 deaths of children born to a James LAMOND and Ann FEARN; a James died 1889 at Baldovie and a Mary died 1886 at Baldovie. Is there some kind soul who would have any Memorial Inscriptions for FARQUARSON near Glen Shee or even Kirkmichael or somewhere close by. (I'm not very 'au fait' with Perthshire, except for Alyth).
