In the times of which I'm talking - probably the 1600's - females were not often given names. Carolyn. Oz Carolyn, Tell whoever told you this that he is very wrong. I have read OPRs back into the early 1500s in several different areas of both Scotland and England. I have never found a female baptism without a name (except in those few cases where there is a prominent blank where the clerk intended to fill in the name later but never got around to it). Unless specifically stated otherwise in this message, there is no intentional attachment on this e-mail transmission. Ken Harrison North Vancouver, Canada
