Al -- I have a fairly complete DEWAR family line connection back into Perthshire, but almost all of what I know is in Canada. There is one family that came to Canada in 1818 from Comrie area and I have had some trouble getting much info on them back on the old sod. Therefore with low expectations, I pass on this snippet of family tree and, should anything ring a bell with you, I'd love to hear it! This is the DEWAR family that were the hereditary keepers of the Coigerach or Quigrich and brought it to Canada in 1818 and sold it back (good Scots) to the Society of Antiquaries, National Museum of Scotland in 1876.
