Re posting interests. Following back on Andersons resident in Perth and previously Little Dunkeld (western part of parish). James Anderson born Tomnagrew about 1875 who later in life was a spirit dealer in Perth and finally a house factor. Died 12th March 1873 in Perth. Married to Jean Stewart and then Janet Campbell. James parents were Donald Anderson and unknown Dowan. Known to be in Tomnagrew untill 1815 when he married Jean Stewart of Perth. James had a son born Perth December 7th 1827 (my line) He may be the James born to Donald Anderson and Catherine Cowan in June 1786 at Amubree (Amulree) His father may be the Donald Anderson born Bailecragan August 1760 who married Catherine Cowan March 20th 1785 There are so many Andersons in Little Dunkeld and the OPR is confusing and seems contradictory in this period. Interested to make contact with others who have Andersons in Little Dunkeld 1700 -1850 and have made sense of the families there. David Smith
