Hello Listers, In another will I have down-loaded, this time for William MCCINTOSH, another of my GGG grandparents, it states that he resided at Welses near Burrelton in the Parish of Cargill, Perthshire. Can anyone tell me anything about Welses near Burrelton in the Parish of Cargill? I've found it on maps. I guess it is/was a farm since in the inventory of William McIntosh, who resided there and died 1862, he had cattle, horses and crops. I have very little more on him (I think his wife was Robina Swan). The deponent for the will was his son, William McIntosh, cabinet maker. Anyone else researching McIntosh in Cargill.
