Hi Malcolm I spotted a couple of possible connections among your interests. I have: David KENNEDY bapt 3 Feb 1809, Dull; 1851 Census says born Crieff, though 1861 has Dull. His parents were David KENNEDY and Elizabeth RUTHERFORD. David (son)'s wife was Ann CAMPBELL bapt 10 Aug 1806 Fowlis Wester, daughter of Archibald CAMPBELL and Barbara CAMPBELL; again, 1851 Census says born Crieff, but later ones say Fowlis Wester. When Archibald and Barbara married in 1792, he was of Fortingall and she was of Logierait, although Ann's marriage entry (1828) describes Archibald as a farmer (deceased) of Monzie. David and Ann married in 1828 in Edinburgh, and I know of 9 children. The first five were born in Crieff, and the other four in Cambusnethan LKS. David died in 1875, and after that Ann lived with her daughter Barbara in Muthill until her death in 1885. Barbara was the second wife of Duncan CAMPBELL, a blacksmith in Bennybeg, Muthill. I'd be interested to hear if this connects.
