Colin, Balgay Cemetery (also known as the Western Necropolis) is still in use and is managed by Dundee City Council. All the lair and interment registers are held by them (see http://www.dundeecity.gov.uk/a-z/c011.htm ). You will supply a date of death for them to be able to identify the right grave. From that they should be able to tell you who else is buried there. MIs for Perthshire, Fife, Kinross-shire and Angus (inc. Dundee) are being recorded by Tay Valley FHS. We currently survey 2 churchyards per year, which are then published. Our bookshop stock these and also those published by other societies relating to the area.. See http://www.tayvalleyfhs.org.uk/bookshop/ Pre-1855 MIs for Balgay are included in the Pre-1855 MIs volumes for Angus (published by the Scottish Genealogy Society) Regards, Grant Buttars ============== Grant E.
