Malcolm - yes, but not quite. That feels very close to my family. I have a pile of DEWAR and McNIE and some FERGUSON, STEWART and others who came from Perthshire to Ontario Canada in the time frame 1810-1825. They're all mixed up and inter-married till you can't tell your Archibald from your Alexander! I do not find in my data the exact families you refer to, but we're close. If you've "lost" some people in Perthshire, perhaps they jumped the pond? Regards - Glen C.
