Does anyone know of the family of Peter Fisher who married Mary Anderson? I think they were both born in Killin, Perth, Scotland. The only marriage I have found for a Peter Fisher and Mary Anderson was in Barony, Lanark, Scotland 27 MAR 1805. I am not sure if this is the correct marriage. It was listed as an irregular marriage. What does that mean? A previous family researcher has him listed as born 8 SEPT 1776, the son of Duncan Fisher and Margaret Galloway. She was supposededly born 8 JULY 1790 to Katherine Anderson and John McNicol. I have found these records in the OPR but I don't know how to relate them or to verify they are the same ones I am looking for. As we are planning a trip to Scotland in August, I would very much appreciate any direction or help that is available. If you know of siblings families of these two, I would love to hear from them.
