Hello Catherine I have checked the Blairgowrie 1851 Census Index for your Catherine McManus and I am afraid that she is not there. In fact there is no McManus at all. I have taken the liberty of checking the other Indices that I have and there are still no McManus names. I have put down the ones I have checked, so that you can discount them in your future research. Auchterarder, Bendochy, Clunie, Dunblane, Findogask, Inchture, Kilspindie, Kinfauns, Kinnaird, Kirkmichael, Longforgan, Madderty, Moneydie, Moulin, Port of Mentieth, Rattray, Redgorton, St. Madoes, Tibbermore, Weem, Blair Atholl, Little Dunkeld, Fowlis Easter, Blairgowrie, Trinity Gask, Alyth which includes the parish of Blacklunnans (part of Angus), Dowally.
