Margaret, I'm a bit behind on my e-mail, so I don't know if you had any replies. I have no connection to the Pullar's, but I did find something which may be of interest, and help put you in the right direction. http://www.perthshirediary.com/html/day0919.html This tells some of the history of the Pullar's business, and gives several names. The company was started by John Pullar in 1824. I believe his wife may have been Mary Walker, but without resorting to ScotlandsPeople I can't prove that. One word of warning: Dundee has a famous forebear, one Adam Duncan, an Admiral, who gave the city of Dundee Camperdown Park. My great grandmother was called Margaret Duncan, and I was told quite some time ago that my Duncan ancestors were related to Admiral Duncan. I have been able to prove that they were NOT. Apparently almost every family in Dundee called Duncan perpertuates this myth, and Duncan is a very common name. Pullar on the other hand is not.... Good Luck Doreen Cuthbert
