Following back on Andersons in the Little Dunkeld area. Interested in making contact with anyone who is following Andersons back from 1800 and before,especially on the western side of this Parish. The OPR seem some thing of a nightmare and trying to make sense of the families most difficult. My line. James Anderson born Tomnagrew about 1785 who later in life was a spirit dealer in Perth and died 12th March 1873. Married to Jean Stewart and then Janet Campbell. Parents Donald Anderson and unknown Dowan. Known to be in Tomnagrew in 1815 Possibly the James born to Donald Anderson and Catherine Cowan June 1786 at Arnubree (Amulree ). Donald Anderson - Perhaps Donald born 29th August 1760 Bailiecragan with a marriage to Cathrine Cowan March 20th 1885 So many Andersons and possibilities and seeming conrtadictions in the OPR.
