About your George MENZIES, the second husband of Mary. I suspect he is from one of my Menzies families, but further down the line. John MENZIES, son of John MENZIES and Betty MCGREGOR of Tominteold, was baptised 26 November 1791 in Dull parish. He married Elizabeth ANDERSON around 1824. He, and his brother Robert, along with their father, John, were in Perth in 1841. He was listed as a wright and lived on Leonard Street. His children were: John, 1825; Thomas, 1827; Ann, 1829; Janet, 1832; Alexander, 1834; John, 1838. There is (or was) a monument for this family in the Greyfriars cemetery in Perth. Perhaps your George was the son of Thomas, Alexander or John. My ancestor was Robert, so I haven't pursued this family further forward. Sheila Carthage, MO
