Hello, I am interested in the Fisher surname in the 1841 and 1851 census for Gilmerton. I understand that Gilmerton would be in the Fowlis Wester parish. Does anyone have the census info for that parish? I would like to request a lookup for the Fisher name. My gr grandparents Peter and Christian (Gowans) Fisher left Gilmerton in around 1840 and went to New Monkland, Lanarkshire, but I would like to check any connections in Gilmerton since I'm having no luck getting any information on Peter's parents/siblings.
