Hello, I'm researching the McNaughton family who settled in Vaughan, York Twp, Ontario, Canada who come from the Perthshire region of Scotland. I have what I believe to be two brothers: Rev. Peter McNaughton Born: 1799 Perthshire, Scotland Died: 10 May 1878 Vaughan, Ontario, Canada Married: Agnes Elizabeth Monteath (1808-1889) on 30 June 1835 in Toronto Children: Maria Anne Innes (1837 - 1912) Born & Died in Ontario Sarah Frances (1838 - 1864) Born & Died in Ontario Grace Elizabeth (1842 - 1844) Born & Died in Ontario John (1843 - 1844) Born Ontario, Died at Sea on way to Scotland Peter (1845 - 1929) Born Scotland, Died Ontario Alexander Monteith (1848 - 1939) Born & Died in Ontario Janet Helen (Jean) (1851 - ?) Born & Died in Ontario Agnes Christina (1854 - 1880) Born & Died in Ontario Donald McNaughton Born: 1903 Perthshire, Scotland Died: 15 Aug 1876 Vaughan, Ontario, Canada Married: Isabella McDonald (1813 - 1890) on 22 Jan 1835 Vaughan, Ontario Children: Anne (1835 - ?) Born in Ontario Archibald (1838 - 1884) Born & Died in Ontario John M (1840 - 1917) Born & Died in Ontario Flora (1842 - ?) Born in Ontario Peter (1845 - ?) Born in Ontario Christina (1847 - 1914) Born & Died in Ontario James (1849 - 1926) Born & Died in Ontario Isabella Elizabeth(1855 - 1919) Born & Died in Ontario I also have information on Grandchildren and so on. Rev. Peter McNaughton was sent over by the Glasgow Colonial Society in 1833 arriving from Aberdeen. In 1844 He returned to Scotland and was put in charge of the parish of Dores only to return by request to Vaughan a year later.
