Hello Marianne, You've made great headway so far! Did William and Elizabeth live long enough to be in census records? How did you get approximate birth dates? Did either of them live long enough to have a civil death registration (1855)? Have you looked at the microfilm of Crieff parish records (available at family history centers)? Did their marriage information say that both were from Crieff parish or elsewhere? Be sure to make note of all the Crieff McGregors as you consult these resources; by assembling the families you will rule in or out possible members of your own line. The parish registers often include which farm someone lived on which helps to link up the right families.
