helen, i use uk streetmap or multimap. you can choose GB place and chose village or choose street and zoom in and out. some have aerial photos for large cities with the camera button. I use the advanced for building address with town Perth. I have even put in Powrie castle, Dundee and Balruddery Farm, Inchture and written them. I then got an old map which shows that area at Tay Valley Family History Center, or the parish boundaries of Dundee at a local public library so try A K Bell in Perth or Abertay Historical.
