I am trying to find the famly connection for William Duncan III, who was born in Dumfrieshire, Perth, Scotland on 19 Apr 1694, was m. 11 Feb 1722 in Orange Co., Virginia, USA, and d. Oct 1781 in Culpepper Co., Virginia. His father is said to be another William Duncan, b. 10 Jan 1659, in Perth, Scotland; m. 24 June 1682, and d. 1720 in Culpepper, Culpepper Co, Virginia, USA. Researchers I have heard from negate the relationship to the Rev Wm Duncan who was a minister in Glasgow but he had a grandson, William, who is believed to have died in Scotland and who I believe immigrated to the USA without leaving word or they denied him. These records have been verified in Virginia and all of us come up with the same info. Please help someone. Mavis
