Alan Thom Thank you for the information, it was most helpful. I was wodering if Parish Records could give me information on the Marriage and Death of ANDREW PULLAR Born 1836 in Perth. Or if he is in any of the Scottish Census. I have a Webtv which is not a complete computer, and have tried paying for the Census, However Webtv does not have the capacity to vue the ducuments. My BIG stumbling block is trying to determine who the parents of my ggrandfather JOHN PULLAR are . He was born in Perth 1808 or 1811 He Moved to Ashton in Makerfield Lancashire, Approx. 1850 There were two other PULLARS there at that time farming ( Also from Perth) WILLIAM and ANDREW. I am trying to figure out if these were his brothers. They show up in the 1851 and 1861 Census as Married, but no wife or children in the household. I have just found a record of 'Note of Probate' for the will of WILLIAM 1862 in the Court of Edinburgh. Any help would be most appreciated. Kind regards Margaret Simpson
