I've also found another Jannet McROBBIE, christened 18 August 1771 in Nigg, Kincardine; daughter of John McROBBIE and Ann CAMPBELL. I suppose she is a second choice for "my" Janet, who married Thomas SOUTAR in Perth in 1807. Very perplexing. Both Janets were marginally able to have a child in 1813, being 48 and 42 respectively. I never knew my ancestor even had a second wife (both were named Janet) until recently, when I found his will on Scottish Documents.
